Man I love Killer. Between this and the Maroon trade it’s a rough time right now, but I’m always going to root for him no matter what jersey he’s wearing.
One of the things that I think is really special about Killer is how much he legitimately loves Tampa. It’s not just the place he lives during the season; he’s talked about how he wants to retire there. I think that’s awesome, to know that it’s not just part of his job but that he has a genuine connection to the place.

Weird to think that we’ve now lost 8 out of our 12 forwards from when we last won the Cup. Gourde, Coleman, Goodrow, Johnson, Palat, Colton, Maroon, and Killorn. And on defense we’ve lost Savard, Schenn, Mac, and Rutta.

Killer and Palat are the toughest losses imo. They were gritty greasy tough players, that made things happen when the Bolts most needed it. Not only that, but they were a huge part of the heart of the team. From our run in 2015, to the last seasons of glory, they were part if the grinders that never backed down.
