This is a perfect example of something weird happening that should signal the hitter that he shouldn't try to throw a typical check. In this case it's Seider jumping AND spinning in a short timeframe. I'm a terrible skater compared to these guys, and even I could extend my arms out toward the other person's torso to avoid danger like this.
You're full of shit… It was intentional. Look at the check from behind he committed just prior to that. He was head hunting, with the intent to injure.
You can see it on his face like he was worried if anyone saw what he had just done.. dirty f'ng hit if i ever saw one. No talent morons ruining it for everyone
