Steve was very candid with his responses in this presser. I also found they way he brought up scoring on this team and how they’re exploring how to better fix that, while also looking internally. Really feel like another move is on the horizon.

How do these reporters not ask about the Holl deal? That is arguably the worst FA contract signed this offseason in the NHL.

– Yzerman really impressed with Seattle
– Went out of his way to mention they are still looking at ways to improve scoring
– They sound pretty excited on Compher. Had their eye on him for awhile
– Extremely candid on Zadina. Steve still likes him.
