Interesting to hear that Sakic/MacFarland have been looking at him for a couple of years now. Gives me more confidence on the move, Devils fans weren’t all that positive about him.

I’m excited about this move, the only one I like more is the Colton addition. Wood seemed to score every time I turned a Devils game on. I think he’ll be a good addition to the team. Seems like he has a lot of potential.

I like this signing. He’s just the kind of player I like. Grew up as a huge Hinote fan and from what I’m reading Wood seems similar. Probably never going to be outside the bottom 6 but gives everything every shift in the ice. Feel like he’s going to be a fan favorite like LOC.
Sure the term is crazy but 2m isn’t a ton. If he develops his shot it’s a steal, otherwise it’s fair value. I trust Bednar to iron out his penalty issues. Hopefully it works out.
