  1. Would you trade Reino for Hanifin?
Would you trade Reino and Knight for Gibson?

  2. I wouldn’t say we got worse but in all honesty we didn’t get a hell of a lot better. We pretty much built our depth with ‘no name’ guys from subpar teams with the exception of Ekman-Larsson and Mikkola. Rodrigues is an intriguing signing but just an overpay in my opinion for a guy that’ll barely break 15 goals a year for us. Yes I know he’s a defensive gem but quite honestly we have enough ‘defense first’ forwards on this team our only true scoring threats are Tkachuk and Verhaeghe, and sometimes Barkov and Reinhart when they actually decide to shoot. A little disappointed that we didn’t make a splash after trading duclair but such is in the past. With the injuries we have going into the season, this squad just isn’t talented enough, especially when you look at what Carolina and Toronto just did in free agency. Not to mention Boston, Tampa, and New Jersey won’t be going anywhere anytime soon either. With teams like Buffalo Detroit, and Ottawa being on the cusp of getting out of ‘rebuild mode’ I honestly see this team as a bubble playoff team that is paying an inconsistent goalie tandem 14.5 MILLION DOLLARS. I think we’re very overrated by our own fan base because we just had a magical Stanley cup run. Just like this year, we are going to start slow and I think we’ll be lucky to squeak into a wild card spot. Sorry not sorry.

  3. Our depth got better, which is what we needed. We got our star power already, we needed the depth. Sucks losing Duke and Gudas but it has to happen for the long term

  4. what was the point of trading duclair ? when healthy, he can put up 30 goals…..then they got rodrigues who they paid too much
