Imagine if he was picked by phoenix. The last 7 days would not even have compared. You are at the centre of hockey in mtl. It has to feel validating.

Awesome. Not gonna lie, I was immensely disappointed by the pick at first, but have come around to see the light. It’s not as exciting as a possible talent like Michkov, but could well end up being the better decision. Hutson and David… will have a great first pairing in the future, seems like they will compliment each other perfectly. Having a solid guy like David… to hang back a little will allow Hutson to go crazy and do his thing out there
