If the Leafs want to keep Nylander, I think the Hawks should call them about Matt Murray (assuming the Hawks aren’t on his no-trade list). Hawks can absorb the contract and hopefully get some more picks out of it. Hawks can get another goalie, injuries be damned, and can flip him if he plays well.

I think most logical Hawks fans are aware that adding Bedard is a *major* jumpstart in our rebuild timeline but we are still expected to be lousy for at least 2-3 more years. The Facebook Hawks fans may be thinking otherwise….
