Agent wanted the Canes because they offered the most money, but Canes asked them to wait a few days to sort things out. Tarasenko not happy about that, wants something done now, fired his agent
Tarasenko wanted the Canes, agent wanted more money than we were offering and held up negotiations. Tarasenko again not happy, fired his agent

I honestly don’t care, because based on recent history, Don will probably just go find somebody better.
I like Tarasenko and all, but he’s like a 25 goal 50 point guy at this point in his career and we can get that from a lot of other players.

My new theory is he’s mad he can’t stay with the Rangers based off the Larry Brooks tweet. It’s the only thing that makes sense beyond really hating his agent considering all the offers were said to be really similar.
