This whole situation’s a real bummer. I was hoping when Zadina cleared waivers the first time this week that he’d have one more chance to turn things around, but with the contract termination looming, Fil’s time here will be nothing but a bad memory.

Man I was so hopeful for this kid. I got so excited when he was lighting it up in the preseason a few years back (something crazy like 7 goals in 3 games) but I guess it wasn’t meant to be. I can never have any ill will for him but I am disappointed that he wants out

The only thing that surprises me is that others did not see way earlier that he was a bust. His numbers in GR were never good, it was wishful thinking that he would be anything other than a bust. I got downvoted every single time I said that up until this month. His ceiling was the Q. Juniors. Maybe he can go to Europe and have an ok hockey career there

You’re killin’ me, Forkz. I concede that Zadina isn’t what he was thought to be, but I always thought he got way more hate than necessary. I also miss my boy Honk. I’ve got one of #17’s sticks because I liked him (and he was one of the only righties)
