In Czech, we are build different.
Jesus look at how the blood on the ice is obviously from spurts
If they were in Philly that night, we all know the fans would have boo'd that announcement
That's what you call a freak accident..that's crazy…so glad he was okay..
I know none of these guys are assholes enough to value a game over someone’s life, but I always get some kind of warm feeling when I see guy’s from the opposing team taking this stuff seriously and actually caring. Lawrence Taylor/Joe Theissman is a great example of this.
I wish I was better at letting it go but to this day the way they continued that game pisses me off. Disrespect at its worst 🤬
That is crazy how it looks like it just barely nicks him but obviously it was a lot more than that
Bro if I was cut like that in the neck I would of freaked out that's one of my biggest fears is getting my throat cut
Imagine being a Sabers fan in 89 when Malardchuck got his jugular cut. You were traumatized, and stopped going to games. Then, 19 years later, your son who is a big Sabers fan, wants to take his old man to a Sabres game… THIS game.
When you look at the shot from around 2:30 it looks like he has a container with blood on the other side of him, that just starts pouring once he tilts down….scary. Never would wish that on anyone, though they did react quick and effizient!
The doc has to hold the artery until they can suture it but where do they suture it? Do they have to wait until they get to the hospital ?
idk, the coaches or manager always seem to be bored. ur player got his throat cut but for them it's like oh well lll just walk from one side of the bench to the other side back and forth. 11:02 little smile there
I've always had a fear of getting my throat cut…seeing this was so disturbing
Don't worry a military expert pinched the wound to to the hospital
What a hero he deserves a Oscar
Respect
He was calm af it seems
God bless the EMT's and the officials who immediately pressured the wound. Saved that man's life.
he is dead now
Eigentlich eine schöne Sportart! Aber!!! Diese unglaubliche und abartige Gewalt die beim Eishockey stattfindet disqualifiziert diesen Sport!!!! Warum geht es nicht ohne?? Krank, einfach nur Krank
Oh lord that trail of blood
I can tell you adrenaline kicks in and anything is possible. He was full adrenaline when he was skating to the bench.
They need to get neck protector pads around the neck to prevent this
This was like King Henry 2nd's jousting accident only he died. Clint's Jersey number 30 just like Martain Broduer (New Jersey Devils). I was born 05/10/1992 Patrik Roy and Mario Lemiux were both born on 05/10/1965. Mario Lemiux was jersy number 66.
I think he tripped
If this doesn't prove how tough NHL players really are….nothing will. God Bless Richard Zednik
I feel like this type of thing must happen a lot though. Maybe not the neck but those blades must get people on the arms and legs a lot when guys are flying across the ice like they do.
Wow that’s a helluva lot of blood !! My god imagine if they cut his carotid artery he’d be dead in minutes
