It's ridiculous that you people come here to rag on the Oilers for doing what's always been done in hockey: protecting star players from abuse. Hockey is extremely physical with a high chance for injury even when played within the rules, which is why unwritten rules protect star players from overzealous opponents.
If Gudbranson and the Panthers thought they could take a run at Taylor Hall and get off scot-free they are simply delusional.
Notice here that Hall didn't bitch and whine? That's because he knew it was a clean hit. Hendricks could learn a thing or two from Gudbranson about not being a dirty piece of garbage.
