I really do hope Zadina kills it out of the gate with a new team. I don’t know that he will, but I hope he finds that success elsewhere because it clearly wasn’t working with us.

I said 2 seasons ago that Zadina is a liability. I got downvoted to oblivion for it. But I stand by what I said. It just didn’t work with the Wings. Hopefully he does better somewhere else.

Can someone clarify – his old contract is *totally* off our books now? Capfriendly seems to indicate this. So he’d have to sign a new contract with us or another team in order to play in the NHL?
