  1. Getting Patric Hörnqvist with the last selection of the draft must surely be the biggest steal of 2005

  2. My only objection to this is if it’s a goalie they should have to be 5th round or later. I feel like goalies are such an unknown coming into the league. But other than that, love the content.

  3. What about juuso pärssinen drafted in the 7th round in 2019 by the preds and he got 25 points in 45 games this season as a rookie. I feel like he deserves an honorable mention at least

  4. Even as an isles fan, it’s crazy how good hank was compared to how small his trophy case is. Like, 1 vezna, 1 cup appearance, 2 all star appearances is criminal. A top 5 goalie ever and his accolades don’t qualify for the hof. His numbers are a different story and will make him first ballot at least.

  5. In my probably biased opinion, anders lee was a bigger steal from 2009, 6th round 152nd overall. 678 games 240 goals 176 assists for 416 points. Also our current captain.

  6. in 2022 I feel like Lane Hutson will be a high way robbery and a top 3 pick in this draft and for a late second round thats crazy

  7. Parssinen as the 210th pick in 2019 feels like a steal. Although Maccelli is definitely not a bad pick either.

  8. @OhNyquist this will be a fun one! Before I watch it, I'm gonna look at the past drafts and come up with my list then see how they compare! But I will say there is only one correct answer for 2015 haha

  9. Ah man I'd love a video on biggest busts…except it might be tough to come up with one for the 2012 draft.

  10. I will think that Dustin wolf will become a bigger steal then macceli
But only once he gets nhl time

  11. I would think Sebastion Aho would be considered a HUGE steal. Second rounder. Only McDavid, Eichel, and Marner have more points, and add in the fact that Aho spent his first year in the AHL and he's only 28 points behind Marner. Seems like a huge steal.

  12. Sharks fan here. Big Joe is my favorite player of all time. And a top ten American born player of all time.✌️🇺🇲

  13. Biggest bust please! Also I think Stuetzle should’ve been drafted 1st overall in 2020 so that’s a steal for the sens

  14. Ondrej Palat, Jesper Bratt missing… What are you smoking bud?

  15. I love your channel but please explain to me how Jesper bratt is not on this list? I am going to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you just forgot he was a 6th round pick.

  16. Another honorable mention for the 2005 draft was Kris Letang. He was drafted 3rd round and is still a pretty decent player.

  17. The biggest draft steal as a goalie was Henrik Lundqvist and it’s not even close.

  18. 2015 has got to be my favourite draft of all time. the bruins had 3 early mid round picks and all three were surrounded by all stars and a few that are some of the best in the league. comedy gold.

  19. My only argument is how many goalies, I get they are all great tendys, but most goalies go in later rounds . Not so much a steal when they are going where expected.

  20. The 2003 draft in both the NHL and NBA were both completely stacked and considered to be amongst the best drafts in the history of both leagues — Makes me wonder what was in the water back in 1984/1985.
