  1. NHL: players who are hurt, pretend they are not.
Soccer: players who are not hurt, pretend that they are.

  2. Last season the youngest player (19 y/o) of our local hockey team was violently pushed into the goalie of the opposite team. Some of them tried to pick a fight with him while he was still down… let's just say they didn't come far. You could feel the murder intent through the TV.
It's always amazing to see how protective hockey players are of their young teammates.

  3. Spineless Canuck bums Edler and Hamhuis finally hit someone…. Oh they went after the child on the ice. Total dorks

  4. Please, as a guy not from the USA or Canada or any other country, where icehockey is really huge. i love most sports but not understandung some things when it comes to icehockey, can anybody explain to me in easy terms what the rules are when it comes to fights on the ice? What is allowed? Why are the refs just watching as it goes on between two guys, and sometimes, they intervene quickly and stop it. i dont really get it. Thx.

  5. It funny cuz all the rookies in this video there now the captain of there team

  6. is no one talking about how fast nico got up after that hit. Like shit guy didnt even flinch after

  7. Larkin learned a lesson that day. Maybe don't skate right in front of a russian when he's skating full speed to hit someone

  8. All too often I see motherfuckers intentionally try to injure the rookie as badly as they can. Club leagues here are fucking horrible. It's almost like some fucked up rite of passage, if you can get brained by someone cross checking you in the back of the head and you're still able to play, you've earned your spot on the team.

  9. I was a water polo goalie, if the other team was unnecessarily violent against me, it was no longer a game for points until repetitions were paid

  10. You don’t bully annyone on my t am or I drop my stick gloves and helmet and roll up my sleeves for you

  11. Roughing the rookie is like hitting the goalie. You just don't do it. Why bring unwanted attention on yourself?

  12. It makes me uncomfortable hearing the names of rookies, people I grew up watching, are now veterans.

  13. Doughty's hit was beautiful, the rookie should get his ass handed to him for keeping his head down. So glad that is starting to go away. Cheap hits are one thing, good, clean, hard checks are another.
