Robinson is the best 2-way Dman in the hisotry of the nhl, absolutely no doubt. He puts a lot of ink on the score sheet, look at his plus minus, hits hard and clean even by today's standarts, and we can see here that he can fight against the best fighters out there.
Larry Robinson pounded Schultz and Flyers realized after this game that Montreal was going beat them . The Flyers were terrified of Robinson he could dominate the game put crushing body check on Clarke then beat up Schultz in next shift.
One of the toughest S.O.Bs to lace up and drop the gloves in any era. Dave " The Hammer" Schultz Good little documentary on him here https://youtu.be/FBxM460vspo
As a Bruins fan I still think Orr was nonparallel but I also have great respect for Larry Robinson. Frankly, I am saddened that the once great Les Habitants franchise has faded into mediocrity.
As great as Robinson was, I guess he wasn't as great as the immortal Dan Spring, who the Blackhawks selected INSTEAD of Robinson in the draft. Robinson is in the hall of fame and Spring never even played one NHL game. Nice selection idiot Blackhawk management! Morons !!!!!

Hit Schultz so hard that the TV screen went blurry……..đł
Duput 3
I was 10 yr old when watching this game on TV – "La SoirĂ©e du Hockey" with RenĂ© Lecavalier. Great move by the coach Scotty Bowman, who sent Larry Robinson to go after Dave Schultz. "Le Canadien" from that era would not let any other team intimidate them.
Un gros show de boucane !!!!!
Seeing the benches clear again just brought up so many memories.I think i was 10yrs old watching this.

1973-'74 season?
Narrator: Schultz actually did need help.
Watching Robinson feed Shultz is so satisfying. What a leader.
Is that Tim Ryan announcing??? With Ted Lindsay???

At 5:04 Larry Robinson accepts a drink from a fan. And then passes it back.đ
You had to be stupid to pick a fight with Robinson.
Is anyone going to talk about Robinson having a sip of beer
En bon québécois, ça chauffait en esti !
Always a good day when the goon gets wooped.
This was the worst fight of Dave Schultz career. He was off on that day.
dave schultz the best at what he did for the team !!
Dave hahahahahahehehehe
Robinson single handedly ended the Broad Street Bullies. The Flyers were never the same after Schulz was shown to every hockey fan as the baby he was.
You don't mess with the Big Bird.
