Say what you want Im really happy that TDA is back. He will be good on a third pair he will add toughness and trash talking and help our powerplay.

Hate this fucker but the deal actually makes sense now. He’s a third liner and will see little time. Chat will have to carry his defense up since he sucks but he might add some scoring.
As long as he keeps his cool, but I skipped out on a season on in home games when he was here last, still debating on that.
Moreso just impressed with Don Waddell so far.

I’m relatively indifferent about this, especially since it’s such a cheap deal and I’m all for more pests on the team… BUT this had better not mean less ice time for Chatty. I would much rather see him continue to develop and improve over being benched for TDA. I know this probably puts me in the minority. Oh well.
Opinions on TDA aside, GMDW is kinda brilliant on this. Got a 2nd, 3rd, and 4th (currently a 2024 2nd, Jayden Perron, Alex Rykov, and Simon Forsmark) for TDA last year. Now getting him back on 50% retention for a 2019 7th rounder who will likely be a bottom 6 guy if he makes the show.
It also helps his trade partner for TDA’s rights was Chuck Fletcher lol
