I was just saying to a friend the other day, "I like the LFRs this season, but we haven't heard nearly enough about zebra boners!" Glad to see my concerns were unknowingly addressed in this episode.
Looks like Keefe challenged 5 calls this year, 4 were successful, 1 was not. Last year it was a total of 3, and he was successful in 2/3

Glove pass was attempted to be challenged only a weeks or so ago. I believe it was the Canadiens and the refs straight up said nope you cant challenge that (you can).

Why would you bring up Kallgren getting suspended? Does anyone think he should be for an accidental trip?
The trip on Ovechkin was intentional. I understand how the stick got over there but he clearly pulled on the right ankle of Ovie. It was not just incidental contact. In any case I would not have felt better if they called a 2 minute trip for this. This was not worthy of a suspension or fine. It happens all the time and is unfortunate Ovie got hurt. From a Caps fans perspective who was at the game I hold no bad feelings for it. It did affect the outcome of the game. Had Ovie been on ice during the 4 on 3 in OT for almost 2 minutes it would definitely have ended with a win for the Caps. I love your enthusiasm and all the Toronto fans in attendance were very polite and respectful. I have traveled to many other cities to watch games and can relate to their happiness at the conclusion but they looked really worried when the score was 3-1. I thought we had the Leafs but still felt the Caps played a really solid game. I think the Caps are ready for the playoffs, not sure if they can make it to the conference finals but a rematch would be nice. Don't think because we got smacked down three times and are the #8 seed that we would not bring our 'A' game. I think all 4 upcoming series in the first round can go either way in the Eastern conference. Good luck, I'll be pulling for you over Tampa but you'll have your work cut out for you as we will against Florida or NYR.
Is it bad I like watching these videos after a Leafs win for that squeaky high pitched "Leafs win" line with the weird fist pump thing. Looks like your cocking back an arrow on a bow or something, just saying.

sorry if someone already commented this steve. think the hand pass challenge was implemented in the blues / sharks series a few years ago with karlsson. when sharks won game 3 i think the next season the nhl made it a rule you can challenge

Dangle, you may be a great hockey fan… But you kinda sounded like a Leafs homer… The puck was away from the crease before Källgren made the poke check which tripped Ovechkin. Just glad I watched the clip for myself to get a better look at this.
Could you tell your audience that the puck was deflected wide and away from the crease before Ovechkin was poke-checked?
He is just trying to hold on to “paddle”, it’s not great for a tender to be sans stick…. As he held it, it absolutely tripped Ov, but not a penalty

Canadian players in the league will give Ovi such a hard time to keep him from reaching that all time goals record. That record is too sacrosanct

How is everyone surprised by the hand pass review? It was a big story a week ago when Gallagher did that for a Habs goal & everyone in the hockey world was talking about it & that the refs mistakenly told the opposing team they couldn't review a hand pass. Are hockey people that forgetful?
