Why is Puljujarvi still so highly rated? There are several players I’d take over him. His NHL career is probably over.

I remember I was hoping that Dubois would have slid to us. Thank god we avoided that shit show, and thank god I’m not the GM.
I think this should be a reminder that one great draft can have a massive positive impact on your team.
In ways we don’t even need 1 great draft, as we have 3 good drafts still percolating:
1. In 2019 we drafted Pelletier and Wolf.
2. In 2020 we drafted Zary and Poirier.
3. In 2021 we drafted Coronato. There are other promising draft picks but we will have to wait and see on them.
If we had draft picks in 2022 and used them wisely, we could have a pretty solid prospect pool that provided us with good young players for the next few seasons.
