    Simply put … nothing will change until Lou and his useless son are gone. I am bothered that our beat writers and some in the fanbase still believe in him. If he continues to be the GM of this team, we will be pretenders and closer to lottery status.

    Lou will strike out again this offseason. He really should keep his mouth shut about making hockey trades. That’s 2 offseason in row he made point of making deals but he has no appealing assets to trade without blowing up team.

    Hey Gil – I really am down in the dumps in regards to this team. The ownership first off let this old man back to finish his job sinking this ship all while excepting these same old excuses. It's madness to support a team that never delivers for its loyal fans and overpays for old slow Un exciting grinders we then shop at the dollar store for table scraps and this guy has the audacity to hold a press conference weeks after expected just to feed us the " I like this group here ". We deserve better and ownership should get their heads out of the sand and clean the entire house.

    Debrincat was never coming to the Island. I have faith in this Team,can’t wait to see what Fashing,Horvat with Barzy becomes.

    When this current team is playing their best they are very difficult to beat. The issue is they are inconsistent and usually cannot sustain that level of play. We get glimpses of what they could be throughout the season… If only they could play that way almost every night.

    I never expected the Isles to land DeBrincat, But i do expect Lamoriello to rid the team of several of the underachievers and their contracts and bring in some younger upgrades at the positions they clear……………Pageau would be my first target and if i were making the calls Barzal would be back at Center (in Pageau's spot), giving the Isles three solid scoring lines……Where is it written that if you take your best play making Center and move him to the third line that it is a demotion instead of an up grade of another line?…Go Islanders!!!

    LOU is a LIAR to ISLE FANS. Treat lou like the LIAR he is who can't deliver on the promise he made to make a hockey deal this off-season. Yzerman not a dummy got it done by having the cap room and assets to pull off a cat deal and signing cat to a below market deal. F you lou. Perhaps yzerman after getting wings back to playoffs in two years would like to clean up the five year + holland like mess lou is gonna leave isles in.
