The 1995 movie Casino – directed by Martin Scorsese and starring Robert De Niro, Joe Pesci and Sharon Stone – was based on a true story. The plot was inspired by the life of Frank “Lefty” Rosenthal who managed the Fremont, Hacienda, and Stardust casinos in Las Vegas for the Chicago mob back in the 1970s and 1980s.

I thought spilotro was killed in the 80s
"They got greedy. They want more and more." Sounds exactly like out govt, always demanding more taxes for inferior services. For proof of this, look at our roads. We pay gas taxes which are meant to repair roads, yet it gets earmarked for other projects so the roads are derelict, then they demand a tax hike.
Blacks stocked in gas station s but white Italian can kill each other and be free criminals
I can’t help but wonder how much of what Frank Cullotta says is true. And if maybe being apart of the film Casino went to his head, making him embellish things. Then again, maybe everything he said was true for the most part. I watched his YouTube videos up until he passed away. Figure if your a dying man, there’s nothing to gain by bullshiting
Since it was the mob who founded the casinos and built them I don’t see nothing wrong with them taking some money off the top that was money the government never would’ve got their hands on in the first place if it wasn’t for the mob all that tax money they made after the fact I just don’t understand why it mattered to them personally that they were scimming who cares if they were scimming The only person that it could’ve possibly hurt was the government who are crooked thieves themselves. The people who got hurt were the f around and find out ones I have NO respect for the fed They are far worse hang they knew if they indict someone it was a death sentence so they were murderers too!
Las Vegas left the hands of one type of criminal and went to the hands of another type of criminal. One far more powerful and ruthless.
Whomever sent Spilotro should of been whacked too. How are you going to send a loose cannon like that just to protect the skim. The guy was too ambitious
9:20 EEEEEEEUUUGH SSSSS INSECURE!
I think it came out a few years ago that it was Rosenthal and his wife that were the informants.
What thing I learned off of this video about the Mafia is that these dummies do not know how to lay low
I hate it when law enforcement talks about doing overtime, on surveillance, like it's hard.
The overtime rate would have been insane.
Their strategies never require university level education; to physically lose money and then to track it may be tedious but not impossible.
12 hour days, gambling at a casino and staring through binoculars.
Their racket was better than the Outfit's was.
Frank Rosenthal was an FBI informant all along, as well.
They redacted that fact from this so-called documentary.
CLASSIC
Anthony Spilotto & joe Pesci had a slight resemblance.
Joe Pesci looks like a real mobster!
