The San Jose Sharks announced the signing of forward Filip Zadina to a one-year contract worth $1.1 million. Zadina (23) was placed on waivers for the purpose of contract termination last week by the Detroit Red Wings.
With the Sharks, Zadina should have every opportunity to carve out a top-six role and try to turn around his career. If Zadina can find his form again that made him worthy of being a top draft pick, Mike Grier and the Sharks might have a steal on their hands.

Eklund, Hertl, Cooch, Barbs, Zadina, Duclair as the top 6 is solid. Just hope they don't score enough to take us out of the Celebrini sweepstakes
Definitely a top notch pick up
Any reason why they didn't pick him up when he was on waivers?
