Jonathan Mingo Highlights ๐Ÿš€ – Welcome to the Panthers

Jonathan Mingo Carolina Panthers – There aren’t many 6-foot-2, 220-pound WRs in the 2023 NFL Draft. This makes Ole Miss Jonathan Mingo incredibly intriguing. Despite average production, Mingo’s potential oozes when watching his games. Josh Norris and Hayden Winks dive in to help you with your dynasty rookie rankings

  1. It wouldnโ€™t surprise me if the Patriots took him in the first round, they may look at his role play ability as a versatile weapon on Offense.

Wouldnโ€™t be mad if Falcons drafted him, he could be a nice WR2.

  2. I like the kid, it doesn't matter where he gets drafted as long as he gets a opportunity. Stefon Diggs didn't eclipse over 900 in college and was picked in the 5th round.

  3. Mingo is getting mocked in the 3rd all over the place but I would bet someone is going to grab him up around pick 50 because of his athletic contemporaries.

  4. Literally just got drafted at 39๐Ÿ˜‚ bro 70 was a low ball, but I can see why. Someone saw that potential yโ€™all weโ€™re talking about.

  5. After watching this dude's tape, I'm so excited the Panthers took him. The dude is an absolute BEAST. If he keeps that foot healthy, which I think he will based on last season, I wouldn't be surprised if he becomes one of the best in the league. Dude makes insane contested catches all over the field. It's crazy his production wasn't higher in college, but I'm glad he's coming to Carolina!

  6. I like the back and forth here….the discussion shows the pros and cons for Mingo. My take away, as I try to see the positive and reasoning why the Panthers would take him over quite a few receivers ( Tillman, Hyatt, Downs), was his ability to catch in traffic and short spaces. Because that is what you get in the NFL. This guy made 51 catches his SR year, and 25 of them were contested or in traffic. Another clear strength is, with the drafting of Bryce Young, you are going to see a lot of quick read, intermediate passes. Mingo along with Laviska, as you pointed out, are VERY good at this type of game. I really like his hands, and he shows clear commitment to the route. He doesn't have to be Davante Adams, but if he can be a lot like Brandon Aiyuk …it's a winner.

  7. It's funny how you guys said he has been compared to Shenault even though you guys disagreed to that comparison. Coincidentally they are now teammates.

  8. Steve Smith Sr. KNEW what he was talking about! Mingoโ€™s name is going to be ringing all over the league. Mingo is gonna be a different animal. Soo glad heโ€™s a Panther.๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿพ

  9. By week 8 Panthers starting three will be Chark. Mingo. TMJr/Thielen switching off at WR3 unless Marshall is actually just really really dumb and can't stick. In which case Thielen solid #3.

  10. It's funny because he actually ended up being a top 40 pick. So excited for this guy. I'm gonna say his comp is Eric Moulds because Steve Smith Sr. said it lol
