Yikes, not a great trade for the Rangers, I thought they'd get more. Kravtsov is def worth a shot for the Canucks.

Great deal for both sides. The Canucks see if they can catch lightning in a bottle and the Rangers make a move towards a big trade. Although along with Kane I hope comes another defensemen

It’s all in. Cup or bust. If they don’t do it, blow it up, starting with Gallant. They don’t have the money to re sign everyone.
If you want a gritty, speedy bottom forward who could be important in the playoffs, Lockwood is the guy. You can't win on offensive skill alone. Just ask the Canucks.

Concerned we are playing sloppy and soft…not a good look heading into the playoffs….shesky..better turn it around or we will get bounced in the 1st round…need a 4th line enforcer…say Simmons from Toronto…if not we will get man handled…
Could someone please tell my why the Rangers would want a 34 year old Patrick Kane? The NYR have a LONG history of trading for aging stars that underperform. Is Larry Brooks the GM now? He's been talking up the Kane trade for a year!

Another JT Miller or Buchnevich where the front office completely bungles it. Drury obviously had some weird personal thing here so can't blame Kravtsov for wanting out and NY gets yet another mostly useless 5th line grinder, but at least some cap space with it.
Here in Vancouver there were rumors NYR initially wanted a mid 1st round pick for Kravtsov. They then asked for Hoglander but finally settled on Lockwood and a 2026 7th rd.
