Every jocks nightmare when clear of the field coming to last flight race at his mercy only to fall,,such races not fixed,,and ye,they jumped maybe 8 or more fences safely before coming down,,,I've seen it hundred times or more in my 55yr punting,,and ye,,I had the leader many times,but good punters will tell you jumping name of the game and never over till passing winning line with jock on board of course,,ye,how many times seen horse unseat jock coming up to line??worse than falling at last,,,joy of racing eh,,,,I rest,jcvw
Harchibald has to be 1 of the worst rides I have seen, people talk about him being a bridle horse but he had responded off the bridle before but he was just given no time to respond
Annie Power and Ruby cost me my biggest ever win on the horses. Most of the time with near misses you forget quickly enough but that one still cuts deep.
How is Jamie Moore a professional jockey? He is the epitome of a modern jockey riding like an amateur. He’s not balanced, that’s why he fell off. He doesn’t even look comfortable on the horse and is holding the reins weird. Fucking useless.
Jamie Moore didn't look once to see the huge lead he had and was far too busy with Goshan pushing and pulling his reigns rather than sitting still letting the horse find his own stride….shockingly bad.
How the hell was Harchinald included as an unlucky loser when the real story of that epic race was the bravery and gumption of the redoubtable Hardy Eustace ? Sheesh 🤦♂️ 👍🏴

Annie Power. I'd backed all Ruby's horses up to that and when she fell I missed out on 10k

The GOSHEN incident still haunts me, I did a Lucky 31 (Ante Post) that year, with a win Acca over the top.
