As long as the 3rd and 4th lines play smart and aggressive defense it will lead to goals.
Thanks DK – Yes, seems like an improvement. Sometimes the goals surrendered at the ends of periods were often tied to these third and fourth lines. I agree with you about Eller. Great locker room presence according to everyone who knows him. Now we need to figure out the inscrutable mysteries of Pittsburgh's power-play!
I like all the signings. I understand people want more offense but being hard to play against is part of sullys system. The top 2 lines can pop offense and the bottom lines should be able to be very hard to play against and wear other teams down. We need to be able to grind our opponents. This should also help our defense and jarry. As well as close out games. We were easily a playoff team if we could have closed out more games last year.
Man we are in the dog days of summer where the news is slow. I appreciate your efforts to keep bringing content to the table when it’s most difficult.

The best way to play defense is in the offensive zone not scoring but like you said forechecking. Make the other team earn any ice they get
