Announcement – r/Habs is Recruiting New Mods

Hello fellow Habs fans.

Free Agent Frenzie is coming to a close in the NHL but that doesn’t mean that every team is full. One team is still looking to sign new members and that’s our mod team. You don’t have to even be good at hockey to do it, you just have to be a Habs fan and have a desire to build this community up.

The nature of modding on Reddit is often thankless and lacking appreciation which means the average moderator serves less than two years in the role. We do this because we love the Habs and want to make r/Habs the best Habs community on the web.

The ideal candidates for modding are people with a strong work/life balance, who are passionate and professional, are good at communicating, and who know how to have fun.

Speaking French is a big need for our r/Habs team but not speaking French would not disqualify anyone. Being tech savvy would be beneficial but is far from needed.

If you are interested, click the link below! The application process should take around 20 minutes.

Thank you for your time, we look forward to reading your responses.

Sent. To the French question: I can read French fine. My writing is not great. I can write well enough to get my point across, but in no way properly written

It’s not that people don’t appreciate Mods, we just often forget to. And by ‘often’ I mean ‘almost always.’

So thank you to all the mods for keeping this Sub from turning into a hellscape of trash!!!
