I dont understand why he couldn't get away from that. That was definitely not a land mine situation, for starters the board was red he had black holdings, also he loses to ace 10 or Ace 2, which are hands I would have highly suspected. Lastly he loses to a set. I have no idea why he didn't just call and i guarantee the guy checks behind him on river

I mean yeah Phil being quiet and humble is rare but in this instance their is no reason for him not to be. ATs with that stack is 100% a calling hand could even easily argue 3betting and the both flopped two pair…just a cooler for Phil.

Everyone who's surprised by PH simply doesn't pay attention. He doesn't just get upset when he loses, he gets upset when he loses to what he perceives as bad play. The guy didn't play bad, it was a cooler.
