Debrincat got the short end on the trading block. They traded for him prior to getting Giroux and prior to giving Stutzle the monster size contract, and its not like Stuzle is some 60% face off artist…. their relying on Giroux for that. They gave monster size contract to Stutzle even though he was "fresh" meat…. Sens mgmt gave Stutzle the 8 mil plus contract for being a winger right after the 3 year elc ended, after giving great big dollar contract to Giroux too. They were handing money out except for the player they traded their futures for. Remember Stutzle was a "add-on" to the Karlsson trade, Sanderson was their pick.

We can trade Nylander and ? to Calgary for Lindholm and Hanifin then we can sign Lindholm $8.5 million per yr for 8 yrs. Nylander not worth $10 million per yr he one dimensional player a scorer but no defence. Nylander should get no more then $9 million a yr Meier got $8.8 million per yr for 8 years from jersey i think Meier is better then Nylander because he more physical and has better defence then Nylander. I know Brodie has been steady for us but I rather trade him he’s getting up in age and use the money to sign Hanifin If he being traded here ?

Debrincat signing for less than 8mil with two 40 goal seasons, great defensively, and he can fight. The only reason Nylander can ask for 10mil is because of how much the other three on his team are overpaid. Brutal.
