  1. I know if Michkov is available and if the Habs don't select him, there will be a huge list of fans that won't be happy. Here's the thing, this is a deep draft with strong forwards. It's not the end of the world if we draft Smith or Leonard instead of Michkov. The scouts and the GM know more than we do.

  2. Attitude and defence are his weakness not enough to not pick him at 5 he’s too good to pass on if the habs don’t pick him if he’s available I consider this draft as a big L

  3. There's an argument this is a Crosby/Ovechkin situation with Bedard/Michkov, besides championships some would say Ovechkin is better can you imagine passing a player who some could one day argue is better then Bedard… At 5th overall… He's the 2nd overall pick for me and any team that passes will regret it.

  4. the bad thing is the 3 year wait and the fact they will do nothing to improve his weaknesses so he will be behind in development and not used to NA ice size

  5. Thank you for this video. ( but I could have done without the quick screenshot pauses or whatever they’re called, just my opinion)

  6. MTL traded away BOTH Russians we had and both were pretty good"Sergachaev and Romanov" so it seems the Habs just don't do well with Russian players.
When talking about individual skills there is actually more to it because hockey is a VERY deep game there are multiple aspects to every single skill.
SO I will use an example …Let's say we say a player has a great hard shot well there is more does he follow his shot to the net or does he do a fly by?Does he aim his shot does he get it upstairs or does he take 10 shots a game all low into the goalie pads?Does the player get into shooting lanes or shoot from the perimeter and there is even more.Does he shoot at the right time does he shoot when he should have passed can he win battles in front of the net because not every shot goes in he NEEDS to follow up his shot.

  7. I really hope they don't take michkov. I know a lot of fans will be seriously disappointed if they do. Overhyped and overrated. Let's focus on getting a real hockey player.

  8. Agree Rick. The Habs don’t take him. 3 years out is too long with too much uncertainty.

  9. Journalists and would be experts would like to influence the Habs direction on who to draft, not going to happen.

  10. It'd be nice to have both Michkov and Caufield jerseys hanging beside the great Lafleur.

  11. That's a good move for Montreal to pick him because in 2026, Michkov will be devlopped and they will need good player because at this moment, Montreal will play for far in series
