You guys are crazy about devils trading for Hellybuck , first his last playoffs stunk. He is on the downside of his career. Devils are not trading Mercer- Fitz already said it. He is a core piece of the Devils. Look at Vegas, they picked up a 27 year old goalie and Road him to Stanley Cup. Devils will ride with Vaneck and Schmid and see what happens during the season. Who knows, Schmid could turn into the next Marty Brodeur.
Devils not giving any players for hellebuck
Hellebuck wants to be paid over 9 million. one year left on deal, jets wont pay him. he will want out. they would never get those players. they'd be lucky to get holtz and a pick
Good point by Flip, Kaliyev could have a massive breakout year. We could be looking at a line of Fiala – Dubois – Kaliyev which would be an explosive offensive line. Fiala and PLD will control the puck and carry it and Kaliyev has a nasty one timer
