Miller emerges as one of the most captivating young defensemen in the game. Reminiscent of a young, speedier (and dare I say, more graceful) Mattias Ekholm, he is still a work in progress, far from reaching his full potential. The question of whether he evolves into more of a shutdown specialist or an offensive dynamo remains open, but he’s capable of both. Like most gifted & towering young defensemen, we’re still a few years away from seeing him in his athletic prime. But this season provided more than just a tantalizing glimpse into his bladed brilliance.
