Andersson is my vote for C. Also pretty sure any or all 3 of Kadri/Huberdeau/Weegar for assistants, unless Lindy stays
Panthers season ticket holder. He can 100% rebound and give the flames 70-100pts for the next few years, but in my opinion as a guy who’s watched him grow up for nearly a decade he just isn’t captain material. He wants his cookies and tucks and to be a good teammate nothing more. Unless you have a core group of vets which it seems like the flames can’t rely on in the next year or two.
Kadri Andersson or lindholm if he stays seems much more fitting for the C…but honestly why name one, new coach and a really shaky core. Name a couple A’s and let everyone get settled…
If we can resign Lindholm it’s gotta go to him both sides gotta figure it out first it’s been stated it’s not about money, but even before we traded for him he took forever to give a decision to Carolina, however not opposed to Rasmus
pretty sure huberdeau will biunce back and a 2-3 good years… but I don't see leadership in him. he's definitely a team player, but not a leader…
Point scoring has nothing to do with being a good Captain. It’s just a bonus that the Captain scores some points.

I think Huberdeau can rebound because he's no longer under Sutter's system. Sutter's system stifles Huberdeau's game, so having him gone will really help him bounce back.
I havent seen a picture of Huberdeau happy since he left Florida, his drop-off really sucks and I hope he can get much better next season
