  1. @girltant if that is one of the best open ice hit you have ever seen you need to watch more hockey. Richards is not the best 2 way player. He did stop playing on this play after the hit. It was a good hit and had more meaning in the series as a whole than what it did for this goal.

  2. @girltant you are a moron, he could have hustled back, just so you know he is one of my fav players but i don't get a hard on form talking about him. And i would put him behind at least Datsyuk, Kessler, Zetterberg, and Toews as a 2 way forward.

  3. @NHLArchive he works harder than all 3. None of them have the work ethic or leadership Richards has. Also, none of them play as physical of a game.

  4. @pruane2isgod just because richards is the captain should mean nothing for his leadership, zetterberg is the future captain of the wings. As for physicality, maybe in the regular season he has an edge but in the playoffs all of these players deliver physically. And he doesn't work any harder. Richards is a premier two way forward, but be realistic, datsyuk by far outclasses him in nearly every category, as do zetterberg and kesler in most, he is on a level with jordan staal or toews for sure

  5. @19saxman91 yeah but David Krejci is (including themost recent sweep) 7-0 in games in the playoffs he plays against the flyers. after Richards took him out they lost 4 straight. so in a certain aspect this was the exact changing point of this series

  6. lol Callahan. I'll give you Datsyuk for sure but Richards has had two PPG seasons so he's in another league offensively and although he's never won a Selke, he lost to Datsyuk in the closest vote of all time…Callahan hasn't even been nominated. Oh yeah and he's won a championship at every level, what's Callahan done?
