  1. There is simply no cap space for William Nylander with Matthews, Tavares and Marner dominating the payroll. ✔️

  2. Hopefully NOT. They need to get rid of him, free up some cap space…and get a better 200 ft player, who will also replace some of Nylander's scoring. The guy was is a blatant defensive deficit in the Leafs, esp if they really want to go far in a cup run. Ya…the guy scored 4 goals in the playoffs…but was one of the worst plus/minus players on the team…at minus 4…along with Holl, McCabe and Gio. Players like Marner, Matthews and Rielly were all over plus 10. It all makes sense, when you see how awful Nylander is on backchecking and forechecking. The guy is a prima donna slacker, when the puck is not on his stick. When the other team scores more goals than you can produce, when you're on the ice, you are a problem. One can only guess at how many of the goals scored on the Leafs in the playoffs occurred when Nylander was on the ice.

  3. Trade him cause he’s not worth his asking price and tried of this charade of I need to make as much as this guy I. That locker room

  4. Nylander is a figure skater. Trade him to a team that has toughness and needs a figure skater. Nylander where is he in the play offs? No where …. one back hand pass and what one clutch goal.?? He is great in the regular season just like marner but when the whistles are away, he disappears

  5. Treliving will give into Nylander’s demands of $9.5 M AAV for 5 seasons plus a full iron clad no movement clause.

  6. William is no doubt a very skilled player, but he can't be compared to Pasternak or Aho. Those players are just as skilled, but play with more grit. William does not have any physical element to his game. I would not pay more than $9 million, and that would have to be for at least 7 tears.

  7. They haven’t even signed Mathew’s yet and they have JT which is a 3rd line centre at this point and Mariner that plays so soft in the playoffs Nylander is the only one that produces in the playoffs. They will win in the season and another early exit in the season that counts. Will never win the championship with that core 4 or 5

  8. The trade value is minimal for both Nylander and Auston The 1 year term is a deal breaker. I think both players will rag the puck for this season, then entertain offers in 336 days.

  9. I guess half of every Clip is about golf….🙄….give it a rest and get to the hockey!!

  10. He want out and who can blame him? He's stuck with the worst franchise in the history of the sport and get rejected by the most toxic and disrespectful fanbase ever seen in North America. Any sane person would feel the same in his place…

  11. Leafs may want to get rid of Nylander….but what team is going to give him the $10 mil he's looking for? Answer: not too many teams will give up valuable assets and give Wee Willie what he wants. I can see another hold out going well into the Season.

  12. Nylander's party has the upper hand for now, and they are going to take as much time as possible, this happened before last time, and there is a history to follow. That means the discrepancy between his numbers and the leafs' are not closed at all. It's all lying on Leafs' decision to give in or trade him.
