Wings had trash contracts and maybe half an NHL roster when Yz took over. Now they are a deeper than most people realize with a lot of great prospects. They need more top level talent to emerge, so people will cast doubt until that happens, but the Wings are positioned to get better quick.

Give Stevie Y enough time to cook, that team is going to be lights out. Glad they're in the East after realignment.
Everyone sucks off Stevie Y and thinks heโs such a mastermind but why would he give Justin Holl that deal if he was so smart?
