The Toronto Maple Leafs and goaltender Ilya Samsonov are $2.5 million apart in salary arbitration filings. Samsonov filed at $4.9 million while the team submitted at $2.4 million, with a hearing scheduled for Friday. this goalie didn't care when it was time to rise ditch him he is replaceable .
He’s still injury prone and has bad playoff numbers. His regular season numbers are inflated by having a great team.
Look at Soup. You can’t overpay a leafs goalie who has an above average season. Number is going to be low 3mil
That's a really big number from samsonov's side, been pretty average until last year where he was a bit above, not sure how that justifies asking for near 5.

Who is Marty Biron? NEVER heard of him. He obviously has NO IDEA of what he's talking about. Samsonov- 3M AT THE MOST. Dubas REALLY SCREWED this team with the contracys he gave out over the last 5 years.
