Wayne the sabres need to get a goalie build up there defence and that's the start now keyvn Adams needs to get back draft picks and prospects for jack and Sam and get possible good players to fill the void of those guys and possibly get rid of okposo and his cap hit
I agree. It's pretty impressive, especially considering the Sabres have pretty much ignored him. On the other hand, I don't know how many interviews Buffalo has done with the other prospects. Classy. I'd take him. His strengths can't always be taught, but his weaknesses can be.
Definitely classy for him to say what he did. So many players in various sports have made other plans to dodge the worst team with the number one pick. Refreshing to hear the young man say something positive. We needed that.
Power seems like he understands the meaning of honor. I think he would fit nicely with the young talent on the Sabres. I hope we seriously consider picking him.
In my opinion you can’t go wrong with anyone in the top 3. However, I truly believe that Eklund is going to end up the best player in this draft class.
Yeah will see how much of an hour it is 5 years from now. Also i really dont want another defenseman they take awhile longer to come around ill take Eklund the more we get closer unless we get another top 5 pick.
He is exactly type of defenseman Sabres need…….agree defense and goaltending most important and wins you games…….forward group will be fine after pieces from trades…..

We're gonna surprise alot of teams next year ,Jacks gonna think damn I could of been part of that we don't need u We don't need you We don't need you over and over louder and louder at key bank ,when the Alaskan A – holes come to town
I really hope we pick Power. The Sabres as an organization need to root out the people who don’t want to be here and replace them with people who actually want to be here. Regardless of skill or ability, if they don’t wanna be here get them out. The Sabres and any other hockey team are bigger than individuals.
For me it would be great to draft Power. However for me I see a couple over things in play here. For example the Jack Eichel trade, if the Ducks do not want to give up Zegras however is 100% going to give you the 3rd overall, Drysdale, and Larsson in the deal. That is 2 Defensemen coming back in that trade, a RHD and a LHD. Drysdale is a top 2 D, Larsson is a top 4 D. Well now you have a big hole at Center.
If that occurs do you then with the Rumor that Seattle will take Okposo do you have Seattle take Okposo for the first and take the 2nd overall pick plus another piece? Then take Beniers and Eklund, or some other combo?
For me the first overall pick hinges on the Eichel and Reinhart trades. Lets say with LA not giving you Byfield for Eichel turn around and say Ok give us Eichel and the 1st, for Byfield, Turcotte, Kaliyev, Kupari, Fagemo, this years and next years first? Its all about what is on the table that can completely turn the Sabres around. And Yes I would 100% give up the first if I am getting 7 to 8 massive pieces in an Eichel deal like that.

I'd be fine with the Sabres picking Power, But who knows what they are thinking. Last year they grabbed Quinn and it was a bit of a surprise. 😎👍🏒

Hope they let him stay at Michagan for a year….go for national championship….play at world juniors and then sign with Sabres in April for few games….
What did Power and Adams say to each other? If Power said, "I'd really like to stay at Michigan one more year," should Buffalo draft him?
