Name some Unreasonable Expectations for Filip Hronek
After trading two high draft picks for Hronek… He had better play well and have an impact..!
Don't know much about Hronek Defense of minus needs to improved putting 39 points along with Hughes be great top pairing needs another Right shot Defense Dante fabroo paying alot for Him needs to preformed
He pairs w Hughes and becomes the best pairing in hockey
Working w foote n Gonchar will only be good for him
I hope that Hronek plays well, but we have to be patient, it normally takes 30 or so games for guys to fit in with a new team, but he will get a full training camp, unlike players who are expected to do it in the short time after the trade deadline. I am just pretending he didn't play for Vancouver at all yet.
I agree with you on Pettersson to a point Beggsy… If Pettersson is slightly overpaid, it won't be terrible… I think 8 years at 11.5 to 12 million at the absolute most..!!! We have to remember, that term also helps Pettersson just as much as it helps the team.
Many good players are looking for long term contracts right now, and not getting them.
Nothing wrong with a deal that is fair for both sides… Another good thing about getting the Pettersson contract done ASAP, is that it sets the bar for other players in future negotiations… Management also has to be weary about going to high with Pettersson, as that just leaves more room for other players to ask for more money in the future… What happens when Kuzmenko scores 50 goals..?
What if JT Miller has a 115 point season in his contract year… Are they now worth 10 million plus…?
