What looks like a fumble on both ends, but don’t forget that we traded Nash to Boston and got Ryan Lindgren in return

Interestingly Buchnevich was also traded to the blues on the same day

As a huge Jan Erixon fan when I was young, I was extremely upset his son was included in the trade. Man, what a bust he turned out to be

This is undoubtedly a trade the Rangers won but I do feel like the Jackets got some nice pieces out of this as well. Not nearly as much of a fleecing as either McDonough trade IMO.

Friendly reminder that Steven Delisle trade tree ends with Mika Zibanejad don’t ask Steve Dangle his opinion on this

Looking back the Rangers had probably one of their best drafts in terms of value in 2013, no picks in the 1st or 2nd and they got Buch, Duclair and Ryan Graves. And unfortunately all of them were given away in bad trades and went on to have more success on other teams.

Great trade, shame Nash wasn’t a good playoff performer

Who’d have thought Trading Nash would lead to so much of nothing for both teams?
