So I’ve been a fan for a while. But because we don’t watch much TV other than the Bears (free OTA) and the Hawks, we cut the cord completely a few years ago, including streaming TV. It’s just too expensive for 2-3 hours a month viewed.
That said, while it will be weird not seeing Kane on a line on opening day, I do want to start watching again. While I’m sure this has been asked before, I couldn’t find it. What legal streaming options are there now? Based on google searches, I think it’s just [youtube.tv](https://youtube.tv) or some big Sling package, but I’m on the fence that it’s worth another $75 (we have an antenna for local HDTV so I get the Bears for free). We pay for a few different services now for us and the kids, so I’m already 80 or so in the hole. Are Hawks games available on the lowest cost Sling package? Or if I upgrade to big Hulu package (we already pay for Disney+, so it’s not as bad), do I get all the games?
I hate that the NHL can’t just sell a package, but I get it. Everyone has to get their cut.
It’s just confusing, what are the options? If I wanna fan, how exactly do I give them money without giving them all the money?
