Scheif has been one of my favourite players for years. Great guy. Such a warrior. He has been carrying this team. If he goes to BB and gets the cup, I would cheer for that. He deserves a ring.

I personally think there isn't a sweepstakes on Shiefele right now because he only has 1-year left on his deal. Nobody wants to trade for a guy who could just walk to UFA after this year. Unless there is an extension in place, I don't think he gets traded for the quality of futures Winnipeg is going to ask for.
