Nylander is great but I would rather have balanced lines. if balancing the cap for Nylander means making the 3rd and 4th line too soft, then no thanks.
I would keep Nylander over Marner any day of the week.

Not sure if they would all go to the teams due to NTC but. Nylander, Lilligren, Brodie and Kampf to CAL for Lindholm, Weegar and Zadorov. That gives Rielly a true 1st pair right hand partner. Lindholm at 2nd center because Tavares is way too slow for center. Zadorov would pair great with Klingberg and McCabe and Timmins as 3rd pair. This seems to help both teams and is close to same on money.
I've had a bone to pick with brodie for years. He's not really a defensive dman he's just kind of forced into that role cause the team has nobody else. He was absolutely brutal these playoffs and he's Soft as shit. Look at the Nick Paul dagger goal from 2 series ago. All brodie has to do is use his Body to separate him from the puck but instead he just backskates with him and dosent challenge him at all. It's things like that with him that piss me right off. He's not a bad dman and ideally you keep him and add around him i just can't see that happening.

Brodie,jarnkrok,lilegren,timmons and Lafferty are all guys that could go and I wouldn't be upset. That's over 11 million in space all together I wouldn't trade Nylander unless the right deal is I wouldn't just trade him for the sake of it.
No problems with Brodie except his cap hit. He’d be even better if he weren’t only dman doing dman things.

Their a trade rumor that the leafs traded T.J brode, William Nylander, TY Volt, a 1st in 2025, 3rd and 4th in 2024 to the sharks for Erik Karlsson at 34% cap hit for the leafs, Mario Ferraro, and Tomas Hertl at 50% cap hit for the leafs and 7th in 2024. To Blackhawks Jake muzzin cap, Timothy Lijegren, 2nd in 2027 and 3rd in 2025 or 2nd in 2026. To leafs Andreas athanasiou. The Blackhawks will eat 33% of Karlsson's cap and 25% of Tomas Hertl's cap. Sharks eat 33% of Karlsson's cap and 25%of Tomas Hertl's cap. If it true or not we see?

what ever happens the Leafs need to keep Nylander unfortunately they may be left with no choice but there is still a trade there somewhere
