  1. Its October people I wouldn't even be surprised if Edmonton turned it around by January people forget the pens and sharks were BOTH outta playoffs in DECEMBER and went to the cup in 2016 still very early it's January and February that matter the most

  2. Entertaining highlights. Oilers need to improve face off percentage. Talbot seems back in form.

  3. Felt like murray was struggling so far this season, glad to see him playing well again

  4. This was a goalie battle at its finest. Good game from both teams. I really wanted to walk away from this road trip with a win. At least we got a point. GG

  5. Speed: McDavid
    Stick Skill (deking): McDavid
    Hand Eye: McDavid
    Strength: Crosby
    Hockey IQ: Crosby
    Consistency: Crosby
    Defense: Crosby
    Face Offs: Crosby
    Determination: Crosby
    Leadership: McDavid

Most of the things I listed as an advantage for Crosby are improved after years in the league. Coming into the league, over their first two years, I believe McDavid has had a greater impact. That being said, let's sit back, relax, and see how this all plays out.

    Justifications:
Speed: Obvious 97 is the fastest in the league… in decades
Stick Skill (deking): Tough one, but McDavid has better moves and at a faster speed
Hand Eye: McDavid only because he does it at a faster pace
Strength: Crosby's legs give him a ton of power. Also why he usually wins the fights he picks
Hockey IQ: Sid gets the edge. He's been around longer and knows more. Both think at a high level so experience is the edge.
Consistency: Crosby. McDavid may get there but he's young. No sophomore slump though.
Defense: Crosby, but this will come in time for McDavid who will learn to utilize his speed better at both ends.
Face Offs: Crosby. He sucked as a rookie and now he's one of the best. Takes strength and experience.
Determination: Crosby. One of the most driven players in the league. It's not that 97 isn't but this is 87 all the way.
Leadership: Crosby's first few years vets complained about him, not McDavid. Everyone knew he was getting the C and said okay. He's a natural leader

  6. Letโ€™s get rid of the phrase what a save when the offensive player puts a a half assed and or shitty shot on goal. Letโ€™s face it. Nobody is impressed.
