Denver senior Reese Johnson reacts to the Cyclones’ 51-43 victory over Aplington-Parkersburg to win the Class 2A Region 4 championship at Waverly-Shell Rock High School and qualify for the state tournament.
Johnson scored 18 points to lead the Cyclones, including four 3-pointers. Denver will face Underwood in the Class 2A semifinals at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 2, at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines, Iowa.
