The 2023 Stanley Cup Final is here, as the Vegas Golden Knights will represent the West while the Florida Panthers will represent the East! This should be exciting hockey as both of these teams are very well deserved and both very talented.

I would like Florida Panthers to win however I think Vegas will win. I hope Florida wins. I hate Vegas. Why do I hate Vegas ? Their playing style is similar to Tampa Bay Lightning in 2020-2021 and Detroit Red Wings of 1997, 1998, 2002 and 2008. Aren't there teams you absolutely hate like Vegas, Detroit, Tampa Bay? I've always felt like this.

I'm also gonna say this that the golden knights depth is fantastic and it's not like Bob can't be scored on most of these games have been fairly close yes they swept carolina but cegas also beat them toward the tail end of regular season

Great break down guys. Its going to be a fun final for sure! Love what's on the the line all around and being a 36 year old 3 generation born and raised in Vegas you know where my heart is rofl but Florida and a Cinderella story behind them and a first cup to a franchise. As a fan of hockey first that makes me happy. May the best team win. Lets watch some serious hockey!

my bracket was perfect! won me almost 10k from aliante. I didn't play series length of each teams just the bracket itself. I picked the knights of course then I picked the underdog from the east so worked out for me. Not bad for $100 bet. I didn't bet who would win it all just who would make it to the finals.
At the start of the playoffs? West ? Vegas, yeah, had a shot. East Boston- NYR-Toronto. Florida? No chance. Finals i see either one has a chance.
Vegas has been very good playing against top players these playoffs (Scheifele & Hellebuyck, McDavid & Draisaitl, Robertson and Hintz) I think VGK can handle Tkachuk and Verhague too. VGK in 6.
Bob Bob Bob. FLA fans need to realize that Hill has better SV%, better GAA and more shutouts in less games than Bob does… Our goalie is no joke! VGK is a MUCH deeper team and has a better D…. We have 3 Offensive star players that all play lights out D. Oh and we also have plenty of experience playing against Tkachuck, more than any other team you have played against so far…. VGK in 6!!!!
Florida gained a certain pedigree beating out who they had to to get here, but I think Vegas ends it and hits the jackpot in 6.

Can you guys do a break down of the Knights and Stars series! First it looked like the Knights would just destroy them … then the big come back from the Stars ! Ending in a massacre in Game 6. You can't believe your eyes with that series !!

The knights have way more conn smythe favorite players over florida. The panthers only have two. That alone tells me that the knights are the better team. Eichel over tkachuk, tkachuk did nothing VS lefs series, people are are drooling over him for scoring two fluky OT goals and he is suddenly a top 3 player in the league and a top conn smythe candidate? Gtfoh

I don't know why this popped up in my notifications after the fact, but I appreciate watching predictions before the actual contest.
After watching the first game, I knew that the Florida didn't have a chance. There was no way, first of all, that they were going to sweep Vegas. It just was not going to happen. Period. on top of that, they ran into the brick wall that was the Vegas defense. And Hill turned out to be something they just could not completely figure out. Meanwhile, Vegas even retired Bob early one game. Vegas was Bob 's kryptonite.
Game 5, the Panthers barely showed up. And by the third period, they were done. Physically, emotionally, mentally, they barely went through the actions while Vegas never let up. I think that was Florida's undoing, actually. And that is that Vegas was absolutely determined to win and they never slipped up. They played the full 60 minutes, all 200 feet, and were able to take the cup home. Or, as the case may be, win the cup at home. I had my popcorn and Pepto-Bismol through the entire series, and couldn't be prouder of the Knights.
Next year is another year, but this year has been very, very satisfying for Vegas fans. Our team is special to us for reasons that other fanbases don't completely understand, but that's OK. Loved the video and the comments!
