Andrew Mangiapane has proven to be a solid two-way player that can be a 20 goal scorer. Mangiapane has to bounce back after his down season. Will a healthy season bring back the offensive powerhouse Flames fans have come to know and love? Rasmus Andersson and Mackenzie Weegar have their work cut out from them. Will the new coaching staff shuffle things and put Weegar back on his right side? Andersson and Weegar will hold down special teams and most of the ice time. How will their game impact Jacob Markstrom’s goaltending? Markstrom has to bounce back. There is no way around it. He does not have to be a Vezina Trophy candidate but rather coming back to league average level. The Flames need to work together to ensure Markstrom has the best opportunities for a better season.
