James van Riemsdyk is well past his prime, but can bring some value to the Boston Bruins on a 1-year, $1-million dollar deal.

When Savard came to Boston, that was the real start of the 2010/12 Cup team, his ATTITUDE made all the difference, I'd hoped the Bruins could keep him around in some fashion.
Wasn't really a big fan of Gruden when he played, and I don't really know how he is off the ice, but I know Asst.coaches run practices, they are usually the go betweens for the Head coach and the players, and usually have a more "friendly" relationship with the players than the H.C. Maybe the Bruins should look for a former 4th line, type, personality, I believe S. Thornton was given a job by FLA, as soon as he finished playing with them which is disappointing, and aggravating seeing as he LOVED Boston, and I believe STILL has a home here, ANOTHER Bruins Gaff maybe???…….

So I've heard that 3 players from Boston are going to arbitration. Trent Fredrick and Jeremy Swayman included. I've also researched previous players in the NHL who have gone to arbitration over the last 5 years. Approx 80% eventually move on within 2 seasons. I was wondering what you have heard please Ian. I just feeling that Van Riemsdyk is going to have a problem like lucic, keeping pace with the speed of today's game. but when you hardly have any cap space, these are the kind of signings the fan base has to settle. back in the day, i loved what lucic brought every night.
Excited about J.V.R. and his goal scoring abilities around the net. He has 300 on his resume. Let's hope he hits 400 in a Bruin uniform!!!
I think another season in the A.H.L. for Lysell would be good. He should get a few games at N.H.L. level to get a taste. He is only 20.
