  1. Huge signing for the Canucks stoked to see him next year with Demko he’ll certainly grow his name out to the rest of the league!

  2. Hey that's awesome that's very awesome for the Vancouver Canucks because we are the best team in hockey and we are number one

  3. I'm so excited for Spencer Martin!!! He has NHL superstar goalie potential.

  4. say hi to thomas gradin when your over there. an interview would be terrific. safe journey, good fellow.

  5. Another awesome move by this new management team. Martin showed a ton of potential and is a great affordable option as we look to move out Halak and clear out some cap space. Love this signing.

  6. I think its a well deserved deal for Spencer but I don't think it absolutely guarantees the backup role for Spencer. However he will be given every opportunity to earn it.

    The details being reported is

    750k for year 1
    775k for year 2

  7. Good extention for Spencer and Canucks! In the few games he played so far he showed his quality (great reactions) and now he got the chance to be Demko's backup if Halak really should leave. Goaltenders are obviously not our problem when they sometimes make up to 30 or more saves in a single game..😅
    Come on Canucks!

  8. This means 2 things, Halak ain't coming back and DiPietro isn't that good of a goaltender. Martin played backup for Tampa Bay Lightning for few years. Demko has shown he's a true #1 Star.

  9. Very good signing!! Hey Clay, you're going to miss the Canucks in the 3rd round against the Avalanche while you're in Sweden…

  10. Agreed 100%, unfortunately Ol Halak needs to hit the golf course.

  11. I root for the Canucks typically during the postseason as I do for as many Canadian teams, other than the very successful (Stanley Cup-win-wise) Habs although during the preseason and regular season I am typically a fan of the Leafs. Signing Martin to US$1 million per season is a bargain compared to my hometown Leafs’ having signed last season Petr Mrazek to US$3.8 million per season despite his injury history. I’d say the Martin contract, unlike the Mrázek one particularly with the latter netminder out at least for the rest of this month due to having popped his groin one too many times, is good value for money.

  12. Hey man… unrelated, but please stop walking around and turning when doing these vlogs. I'm getting dizzy.

  13. Love the signing! With Demko killing it in the NHL, Martin hot in his NHL appearances and lights-out in the AHL, DiPietro rebounding after a slow start this year in Abby and Silovs doing great in the ECHL…. Nucks organization is looking solid in goal for next year.
