MK confirmed my views on: (a) Kleven and Brannstrom, (b) our overall team D despite the recent additions (Chychrun, Korpisalo) and, (c) Tarasenko being possibly better off with Stutzle rather than Norris.
I was surprised to see “the athletic”ranked Chabot and Norris’ contracts as our worst. I consider both of their contracts fair market value

Um… problem with your Chychrun vs Zaitsev theory boys, Chychrun's damaged goods until proven otherwise. That's 69 + games, before any idea of playoffs. If you consider Chychrun as a solid defenseman, he'll have to prove he can play 82 plus games, or no playoffs. Now, with the trade to offload Zaitsev, cost the Sens Roman Kantserov to Chicago, after that, Chicago pulled in Korchinski, and Arizona got Daniel But for the Chychrun's 68 games. Arizona has 2 more draft picks for Chychrun trade.
Oettinger and Knight… now the scary part was the volume of dollars handed out by Florida to goalies, essentially 15 mil out of 83.5 or 18% on 83.5.
