    Depends on how much the Sharks offer. They can’t afford to give up a 1st round pick this year. They’re no where near a playoff team

    I don't think Laf will ever come close to the pre-draft projections. He had great success in QM while he was a very developed man playing against mostly boys. He had all the room in the world to do his thing. He is adapting to the new reality. A $4 mil offer sheet gamble on him could pay off.

    San Jose lol. They wont get him to sign an offer. If were speculating, then watch out for Seattle. Francis has snagged alot of the waiver wire. So why not an offer sheet.

    Things could totally change in Calgary if they can't extend any of these guys, as there's already been a lot of change with bringing in new GM Conroy. Where ,oh, where will Karlsson end up? Could it still be Pittsburgh?

    NYR will match anything on laf that wouldn't net them a 1st if they passed. it'd have to be a 1st from a team not expected to do well for them to pass. sharks wouldn't get him unless they risk a 1st.

    Hanifin makes more sense than Karlsson for the Pens. Couldn't the Pens still take Vladar as a tandem partner for Jarry? DeSmith's days are numbered, so don't see why not. So who do the flames want? Pettersen, maybe 1st rounder, maybe Granlund after 50% retained, Poulin… who knows. Pens still have to figure out a way to unload that Petry contract (buyout maybe, but would be expensive) Hextall's constant gaffes have really made a mess for Dubas to try and clean up.

    If we're the Sharks, I'd offer Lafreniere a 3 yr X $5 mill offer sheet. He'd still be an RFA at the end, and the $5 mill salary would be a problem for the Rangers.

    98.99% all Flames players will be back for the season. Draft was the prime time to trade these players and it never happened now the next time these players value will be up is at the trade deadline. Hanifan Lindholm Backlund will land big assets with playoff teams bidding against each other. Question is will Calgary trade them if Calgary is in the hunt. Vladar will be the one traded before the trade deadline.
